It’s is sad but it happens. I’ve seen it over and over. You say you can’t stand a character and express your frustration and all of a sudden people jump at you and call you names.
See the thing is, you can’t control people’s feelings, opinions and expressions.
So when you shout at someone about their opinion that had nothing to do with you, it was obvious you wanted an argument. Now that’s bullying.
The person is going to clap back at you for your bullying. No one has a right to.tell someone to stop reading or not be here, Everyone is entitled to their choices.
The reason @Lightning-kun does the copy and paste is simply because she is often attacked over her comments on the plot which has never been done to target a real person, whereas many have attacked her and called her names. That is how the arguing starts. I experienced it maybe twice. So I know.
But I dream of a world where individualism is understood and we can have a society with emotional intelligence.
It means we’d all learn when to just overlook things instead of letting everything someone does upset us. I think it’s just a kind of maturity which is so lacking among some readers.

I get what you’re trying to say, but you’re kind of contradicting yourself here.
You talk about emotional intelligence and maturity, yet you’re labeling anyone who disagrees as someone looking for an argument or even “bullying.”
People aren’t upset because someone simply dislikes a character. That’s normal. It’s the way it’s constantly phrased and repeated that comes across as condescending or dismissive, and that’s what people react to. Also, calling it “individualism” while telling others to just overlook things goes both ways. If one person is allowed to express their opinions freely, others are allowed to respond to them too. You can’t expect people to stay silent and then frame their reactions as immaturity when they don’t.

I am under no obligation to be constructive; no one is, and being rude to whom?? if you care so much abt these illegal sites, why don’t you go read on official sites? no one is rude there? You’re missing the point. No one said you’re not allowed to have an opinion or reply back. The issue isn’t that you criticize, it’s how you do it. You say you don’t lash out, but your comments speak for themselves. Repetitive negativity, condescending tone, and then acting surprised when people react to it.
Also, telling people to “just ignore it” while you’re actively engaging and replying to everyone is a bit ironic, don’t you think?
If you really didn’t care, you wouldn’t be going back and forth like this. At the end of the day, you can say whatever you want, but that doesn’t mean people have to accept the way you say it without responding.

Maybe you should realize that tone matters. What you’re doing isn’t constructive criticism it’s repetitive, copy-paste negativity and straight up disrespect and the moment someone doesn’t agree with you, you lash out instead of acting like an adult. Hiding behind “it’s just my opinion” doesn’t make it any less rude. As for now i only read 3 chapters… and the artstyle is amazing, but it’s kinda getting on my nerves, the fl is a big pushover and doesn’t take stand for herself AT ALL. (which is kinda understable bcus she grew up being oppressed but still I can’t tolerate it for now)
I might come back in the future if the fl starts acting smart.

Very nice artwork. The storytelling is quite ok – that inheritance stealing host family sister is a bit over the top to make sense, the is plot not really original and you can see where things are going a bit too easily, but I look forward to our pityful FL’s developement. Go get them, girl:)

Once again, Harriet couldn’t argue with her uncle’s decision to pin the blame on her for the trouble her cousin Bella had caused. After all, she was an orphan, living under the care of her guardian, her uncle.
Even though she became known as a scandal maker in society, even though people gossiped behind her back, Harriet believed that at least her uncle’s family would understand her sacrifice.
That was until she was accused of stealing the duke’s brooch and sent away to the strict convent, known for its harsh discipline.
“A scandal maker? Fine. If that’s what they want to call me, I’ll become a real scandal maker.”
With revenge in her heart, Harriet returned to the city, only to find herself face-to-face with Duke Kaylas, the man who had been the reason she was sent to the convent.
“They say people change after coming back from St. Clarissa’s convent. I guess it’s true.”
His cold, piercing eyes shone with a dangerous curiosity, almost as if he were suspicious.

Tez-man Bella is sleeping with and who does her dirty deeds.
ML Duke Cedric-young Duke coveted by his father’s twin, his uncle.
Duke has an evil cousin too who might marry or work with Bella .
…Harriet is branded the scandal maker because Bella does her dirty deed and uses Harriet’s image to bail her out. Everytime Bella does anything to.harm her own reputation, they set up.Harriet to take the fall.
Bella used Tez to pin the Duke’s brooch on Harriet’s dress at the banquet where the Duke was being honored. Duke showed up, wanting his brooch back, saying it’s an insult to his family. Bella plays innocent, even making excuses for Harriet. The father got upset and sent Harriet to a convent for a year.
In the meantime, Bella tries to win the Duke who is not interested so she met his Earl cousin, who was engaged to Daphne. She wanted Daphne’s place and the Earl told her to prove her worth, so Bella used Tez to spark up scandals about Daphne and their engagement annulled. Bella plans to get rid of Harriet for good.
Last chapter showed us Harriet getting along with the sisters at the convent, even doing chores, and then she had a visitor, the man told Harriet Lord Listerwell, removed himself as her guardian. She’s on her own now.
Base on the premise, I hope these two, Cedric and Harriet, can really be a smart pair.
We were introduced only to their demise so far which is interesting.
