Summary
Read manhwa online What’s With the Three Kingdoms-Obsessed Male Lead?
I was possessed by a parody novel of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
It’s the unification of the three kingdoms and this is a flower garden, so I just want to look at the pretty faces.
Lu Bu, known as the world’s greatest madman, appeared before my eyes.
“Don’t turn your head. When you look at someone else, whoever that is. “It will kill anyone who sets eyes on it.”
She said she had a crazy face, but she didn’t say she was really crazy…?
There was no mention of Yeo Bu being an obsessed man!
Moreover, the eye-wateringly beautiful Lu Bu will die in the not too distant future.
I’m busy running around trying to prevent the ending of Yeo Bu’s death,
Was it the problem of cross-dressing or being a trickster?
I don’t know anything about the future, but for some reason, the flowers are fighting to have me.
excuse me,
In this novel, wasn’t the male lead called Yubi anyway?
Why are you doing this to me all of a sudden?

Also, in this manhwa, MC read some kind of fan fiction where Cao Cao secretly loved Guan Yu, which did not happened in the original Three Kingdoms story.

It’s a great story, but it helps a lot if you’re familiar with Romance of the Three Kingdoms, a 14th-century Chinese novel that dramatizes the events of the Three Kingdoms period (220–280 AD) and the chaotic years leading up to it.
During this era, China eventually splits into three major factions:
* Wei, led by the Cao family
* Shu Han, led by Liu Bei
* Wu, led by the Sun family
From a literary perspective, Shu is usually portrayed as the morally righteous faction. Liu Bei is depicted as a benevolent leader trying to restore the fallen Han dynasty, even though Shu was the smallest of the three kingdoms.
By contrast, Wei (especially under Cao Cao) is often framed as the antagonist. Cao Cao ruled in the name of the emperor during the final years of the Han, effectively controlling the court and consolidating power, which later contributes to Wei’s reputation as the “villain” faction in popular retellings.
This story takes place before the Three Kingdoms period officially begins, around 180–190 AD, when China is still unified under the Han dynasty.
The capital: Luoyang, is under imperial rule, but the government is unstable and the emperor is weak. Amid the chaos, the warlord
Dong Zhuo: seizes control of the capital and dominates the court.
During this time, Cao Cao is beginning his rise to power. Various warlords are forming alliances and rivalries. The political situation is rapidly deteriorating toward full-scale civil war
Lu Bu is initially a subordinate of Dong Zhuo, but famously betrays and kills him. Afterward, Lu Bu operates independently, briefly aligning with different factions (including Cao Cao) before ultimately being defeated and executed by him.
Meanwhile, Liu Bei is still an rising figure. He is closely associated with two “legendary”warriors: Guan Yu and Zhang Fei
These three are often referred to as sworn brothers, and their bond is one of the most memorable elements of the story.
Lu Bu is consistently portrayed as an almost unmatched warrior. One of the most famous scenes is the Battle of Hulao Gate, where he fights all three (Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei) at once.
While Lu Bu doesn’t outright defeat them, he holds his own against ALL three at the same time.
During this fight, Zhang Fei taunts Lu Bu, mocking his lack of loyalty and calling him a “slave,” which is a reference to his history of betraying his adoptive fathers. This specific insult is what the manhwa is referencing.
