i think this is why the body swapping is important here, for both of them to grow. There’s such a huge lack of communication from both of them. She’s scared to speak up (which i 100% get why), and he just shuts everything down and gets all riled up. Plus there’s all these misunderstandings influencing how she sees him too (the whole near-bankrupcy thing). The only way they’ll understand each other is by either clearly communicating (which feels kinda far fetched here) or being forced into each other’s shoes. Honestly, it makes the plot more interesting for me and i’m hoping the character growth is written well because there’s definitely potential.

Also im not at all choosing sides here. I strongly agree that downplaying someone else’s pain because yours is “worse” is genuinely such a shitty move. I feel bad for FL, and i’ll keep giving this the benefit of the doubt 🙂↕️
I feel like he thinks that only his misery and sadness growing up is important and that no one understands him. In a way I’m kinda pissed of but it’s actually really sad. I kind of understand how he feels
I guess he is really doesn’t get that not everyone has the same mental fortitude he had. Yea what happened to him was bad and he had the will to survive but it’s pretty obvious your wife doesn’t.
