Uh, so why did Rachel remind her father of Vivian, even though Rachel looks much less like her mother than her little sister who’s the spitting image of Vivian actually? Why isn’t the father reminded of his wife even MORE when he looks at his son and the little daughter who have the same hair color as Vivian???
Some people still believe that witches are dangerous, even though the crown prince Dylan is “acknowledging” the witches? No surprise at all – after our not-so-smart heroines and her powerful allies all let the media and rumors run crazy for weeks, riling everyone up against witches with distrust and fear 🙁
And what about the actual emperor, father of Dylan? He’s still in charge, right? Only a short while ago (in the last chapter) he was “enraged”, and even “eagerly” cooperating with the PURGING of witches!
from what I understood (so grains of salt):
Nobody would help if some “nobodies” come and say “Hey, there´s a big hole spitting out monsters soon, kinda need an army here.”, so the youngsters came up with using the image of the “evil witches” to give as many folks as possible a common cause. Can´t really remember the personality of the emperor, he was either used if he´s an arrogant menace, or he was in on it, cause an emperor definitely can say “Whoops, looks they aren´t evil~~”. That it will take a while to roll over public opinion of something they fear, not to mention political manuvering by the nobles, that´s a matter of course.
And with the whole “looked like the spitting image”: Art style. Can´t convey it proper cause let´s face it, halve the cast looks similar enough to be siblings.
