I also wonder why victims of harrasment never scream out like all hell broke lose… but I heard that some are so in shock that they basically freeze 🙁
It’s definitely hard to physically resisting a superior who might get you in big trouble as a retaliation if you hurt him, and who could just say “she’s lying, there’s no proof” afterwards, and that’s that 🙁
That’s why in Europe more and more countries are changing their laws to become “principles of consent” where “only yes means yes” – so if a victim was not able to say no or to put up a fight, harassment (and worse) is still indictable, like by considering wounds and such.
I always wonder, in these sitsuations… Why the girls never knee the guys on the crotch? Like full on kick on the shin, stomp on the foot with that high heel.
