Being mad at him for her not telling him that his step mother planned it all is crazy to me. He would have no reason to think that because his brother was endangered but she knows because she observed how they treated the kid. sure. if he’s thinking this relationship is going badly, we’re fighting all the time and arent happy lets fix it with a kid but thats not what he’s thinking. nobles dont usually marry for love, quite often marriages are arranged and its important that couples to do the feelings part after a wedding. he clearly has feelings for her and is worried that she might just leave which to be fair the title of this is the goal is alimony, shes planning to leave and he can sense it. he’s seen how good she is with his kid brother and knows that bonding with their child they both love and care for would bring them together and give her a reason to give them a chance at happiness instead of just ditching her life. you do have to kinda pay attention to the characters and world instead of just being like well in my reality that means this so its bad actually.
