Okay, yes, getting rid of her letters is wrong but considering what he went through at that woman’s hands, I would be more surprised if he let those letters through. From his point of view, he is protecting his wife from someone who uses and discards people like tools. However, I think her expecting honesty from him when she’s not being honest, even if it is something as difficult as saying she was a transmigrator, is unfair.
literally. the recipe thing was she doing something nice to him, it’s actually weird he’s so hung up on it when it’s literally just a fucking biscuit. even if FL is hiding where she learned it from, what difference does it really make? none. meanwhile ML is literally 1. stealing her mail (something not only morally reprehensible, but illegal by today’s standards) 2. lying to her about the reason he’s doing it just because he thinks she’d question him further. about this, it’s simply moronic. he could come up with multiple reasons to justify not mingling with the royals beginning and ending with “it’s dangerous”. any fool knows that, since the royal family has ultimate power over their kingdom. and finally 3. he FORCED his employees to cooperate with the charade despite them explicitly expressing they didn’t want to be part of it. genuinely hard to justify this, no matter how you look at it. and it’s clear that he doesn’t even feel remorse for crossing her boundaries like this, he’s only upset het got CAUGHT doing it. at this point, I hope FL divorces him and never looks back. but that probably won’t happen seeing how the story is bending backwards to justify/gloss over his unacceptable behavior.
