I’m wondering how the story ends. As much as they like Paula and enjoy her company and her personality, I don’t see this going beyond the barriers of status and her ending up with ML and getting married to him. For one there’s the issue of Paula’s low self worth, she would suffer greatly from other people’s gossip, and I really don’t see them treating her as an equal, Idk
