   I expected slop, but this isn’t slop at all. This is incredibly in-depth and well written, even in webcomic form. The author’s artwork is also really good, and I’m loving the difficulty and metastrategizing that’s involved.

   This Manhwa is one of my favorites!

   The MC is definitely powerful, but not ridiculously powerful that by chapter 20 like in most Manhwas the MC can defeat a god. No, what’s great about Pick Me Up is even in the most recent chapters (120’s) there is still a threat that these characters can die at any moment or something terrible can happen to each party. The MC actually needs his party members… let me repeat that… the MC even as powerful as he is needs and relies on his party members!! It’s rare to find that and I’m glad the author is holding true to that so far! The only other Manhwa that does this as well this is ‘i became the tyrant of a defence game’.

   The story itself is well written and makes sense. The enemies/monsters are realistic for the levels they are currently at and enter. If you like games, it keeps the mechanics of the game consistent throughout unlike other Manhwas.

   Is there an ability/power type of system? Yes! BUT this Manhwa does it very well. It’s not like they are gaining 20,000 abilities each chapter that you’ll forget about in 1 or 2 chapters. They only get abilities that are useful.

   Just go read it, you’ll love it! Action is incredible, fights are well written, characters are all great, world building is top notch… it’s a fun ride!

   It’s a good read. A bit Solo Leveling like, with the same style art, yet different. It’s more of a team play than solo.
