Firstly, he arrived the Duke’s mansion at a sensitive time.
He was still griefing on his parents’ death, so he needed time and space.
However, Lara is like a little sunshine that tried to invade his personal time and space. He also mentioned that he was jealous of Lara’s innocence, so he was rude to her at first.
He wasn’t rude to Damian because Damian is calm and do not try to be super close the first time they met.
However, when he met Sasha, his wound has been somewhat healed already.
Plus, a baby is a completely new creature to him. A baby is so cute, almost like a doll.
In addition, he rescued this baby, so a bond has been formed in the first encounter already.
Not to mention, Sasha is such a calm and composed baby, so their personalities match.
