Intelligence =/= emotional maturity or the capacity to become more emotionally mature. He’s been socially isolated for so long and is still trying to navigate interpersonal relationships and the consequences of his actions. But he won’t truly understand it unless someone TELLS him: “This is how she felt when you said this, this is what she thinks when you behave this way, when your actions make others feel bad, you have to own up to your mistakes and apologize even if that wasn’t your intention”. You can’t just say “oh you’re smart, solve it yourself”. He’s a 6 y.o. who just lost his parents and got dumped into someone else’s household, cut him some slack.

Though I say that, I also don’t blame FL for thinking this way since in every life she never lived long. Even the first few chapters showed she still has much to learn emotionally. But it does rub me the wrong way when the manhwa poses her thoughts as the solution to this situation.

What she means is that he needs to understand and figure out what he did wrong and not just apologize, if someone steps in and told him to just apologize he would just think “oh, she just doesn’t like mereka for some reason.” And not “oh, shes been really nice to me ever since ive came here and ive just been a horrible person to her”
When she said “hes just a 6 year old” Shes pointing out that he hasn’t learned the emosional cues, and emosional maturity at all, and this is an opurtunity for him to learn those things. She knows that hes smart, he knows that he has the capability to understand what he did wrong and thats why the parents and her didnt step in, he is a 6yo but 6yo is old enough to understand and learn these things

I’m not following the thought process because why acknowledge that he’s also just a little kid but then expecting him to solve the situation all on his own? Like how is he to know better when the reason this happened in the first place is because he doesn’t know better. The adults should have intervened and helped bridge their misunderstandings.
