Five chapters in and I find it different. (Maybe I have read too many. lol)
So ger Dad abuse her and force her to marry an older man (look like he could be her dad’s age.).
Marriage is consummated but you don’t see much of it. It goes fast enough for you to get the concept.
So the man’s mistress has a son Jay. She treats him badly too.
He understands FML loneliness and connects with being unloved etc.
We see feelings being developed between FML and Jay, the mistress son.
The ending feels predictable. Too predictable.
But I could be wrong.
She’s in a helpless marriage but in chap 15 she males it look like she slept with another man to try to get a divorce from ugly old husband.
Don’t know if the plan will work, or she’ll run away or if husband will lock her up.
