Avalanche
I really liked ‘Absolute Regression’ [read it up to chapter 25] and so I was hoping that ‘Absolute Dominion’ would be another good story for me.
The Description said ‘same author’ and the first chapter was promising too!
Also the translation is good and the art is top-notch. Sadly that’s it. The general story is just standard martial art stuff and I really don’t like the portrayal of women in this one.
[I read up to chapter 19.]
They all are just so weak and dull and leave no impression at all.
Not even the FL! She’s especially dull and colorless [literally] and kinda helpless too.
But I need women to be strong. I need equality and I would love it if women weren’t reduced to just one attribute. Yes, here it is – as so often – just beauty. *sfz
It’s frustrating. It’s objectifying. And guess what? Simply wrong.
There’s always more to a human being than their physical appearance and yes, surprise, surprise! Women are human too.
So the story lacked depth and female power.
‘Absolute Dominion’ was unfortunately a disappointment and for me a 4/10 at most.

Better just read ‘Absolute Regression’ instead.
Or ‘Myst, Might, Mayhem’!
Or ‘Surviving as a Genius on Borrowed Time’!
Or ‘World’s Greatest Senior Disciple’!
That would be time well spent!
