Well.. I’m dropping this one at chapter 21. The story is the typical cliche in which the ml is an emperor who can’t sleep because he is cursed and is controlled by other people and the fl is a slave from one of the countries the ml conquered who happens to know magic and helps him sleep, up to here it’s the usual but my problem is that the fl has a slave boyfriend who she is in love with. Seeing this dynamic where the ml is “in love” with the fl basically because she helps him (since the first time wtf) and since he is an emperor the fl is his (?) and the fl is obligated to help the ml trying to get approval so she be free and marry her boyfriend doesn’t sit well with me.
On the other hand it’s a pretty normal cliché , typical cold and cruel ml and sweet and innocent fl.
