@Mandragora Love, that was what people did in the time period that this is set in. Now maybe the author was being toxic, cause she did say that she was gaining weight because of taste testing the Prince’s food, and he keeps calling her face a dumpling, but it also may be normal historical shit.
I understand perfectly that he was a huge evil snake, but that was on the alternate timeline. I think all he needed was a little bit of love. And yes he’s a bit of a jerk, but I don’t hate him just because what he did in the AT. I definitely feel for the fl tho. If I were her I would not like to be near him either. I’ll hope for the best!
