So what happened to the evil brown eyed duke? He just fell out of the plotline and never came back. Is he no longer interested in her because she is not engaged to Asaad? Or is it she doesn’t have the feeling of having to save the original ML and just let him suffer whatever comes his way while relying on the ML halo.

For me the Ayne did the right thing. Pitying him doesn’t mean she also needs to be responsible on his feelings. She pitied him but she doesn’t love him at all. She did great on being cold and turning him down several times without wavering. She’s the best FL I ever had since she’s very consistent on Baby Jay 😍 I mean she knows where she truly belongs. This is the first manhua I ever read that I finally reach the end🥲 so I’m really proud and happy.

He got freedom, he’s able to return to where he should. And perhaps one day he will find someone better to love/mate with. Ofc it won’t be as fast as Assad as he cares a lot for his mistress. It’s hard to move on that fast. And I’m soooo happy that Jay and Ayne stayed together ❣️❣️❣️???
