Why can’t you just not drink poison? Why not dilute the poison and take a tiny bit, if you really have no choice? She says she knows the poison, so why not get an antidote ready?
As for the narrative, why use poison and pretend she can survive it if you plan to kill her anyway? Just send an assassin with a knife so it’s not super stupid. Or a fire in the mansion, or some shit. Something that doesn’t get you a Darwin award from the start, maybe?
This is one of those times where context should be super important, and it makes me think the rest of the story is going to be filled with stupid shit too.
