Maybe because I’m an Asian, I like this kind of storylines. I mean about the political conflict in empire. Surely women are being part of it because sometimes man will fight with other man by using women’s charm to seduce other parties.
The snu snu scenes here are just the opening for the storylines.
I think we need to wait longer to see the biggest storylines of this manhwa.

The ML is an abusive, manipulative, rapist piece of shit.
The FL is the gentle, naive, kind, and sweet weakling that we’ve all grown accustomed to.
The only reason why this manhwa is different from all the other toxic ml possessive sexual assaulter bs is because it talks about Korean geisha’s and lists off some of the horrible things women had to go through in this era.

Every female character gets done dirty by a man, and the author almost seems to want us to root for Jihak by turning the character they were setting up to be the second ML into a piece of shit. Free Eunha and her poor older sister from these horrible men. Like, I’m not going to forgive or overlook any of Jihak’s actions just because the author alludes to him having a horrible childhood? He’s a rapist at the end of the day.
