Yo wth? Are you telling the unmarried no child single duke to abandon his land and go with you? Like yeah if it was for few months it can be compromised but there’s no guarantee you will find the murderer in few months😂. Also the murderer is after fl, why would fl even think of looking for murderer when you can stay in a place you are comfortable laying traps for murderer. It would be wise to stay with duke, setting trap for murderer since the duke would literally be in his home turf and would have advantage. Like yeah searching might be better alternative but it’s also riskier with no guarantee.
