MY READING HISTORY
You don't have anything in histories

There are whole ass stories about ppl who go around calling ppl in bad situations, stupid, and preaching about how the mc is so much better then them bc the mc rose above their troubles to take control of their life and forge a bright future. None of these stories are about older ppl or ppl with persisting mental/physical issues, every time it’s a person who knows the future or has a super power to keep them safe or a strong support network of friends and family to help them, it’s ridicules how little sympathy for others these mc’s have and the author’s disdain for other’s is all over the writing

Not only she was abused and betrayed she also witnessed the end of the world and people dying everyday. I think she’s really strong and i get why she wants to die so bad
Mari623
Mana usage= dead bug= nose bleed. At that rate killing a monster could cause permanent damage. Well it’s a story so I imagine she’ll get stronger.
watever
Reading the comments here I’ve realized that some ppl really dont have a clear understanding of what depression and mental health is. It’s a psychological problem wc doesn’t go away on a single day. Don’t expect all ppl to be strong after experiencing physical & mental abuse everyday. In this case, at least be wait and see if there will be character devt instead of showing how ignorant you are by immediately calling a person weak – who just came back from a traumatic future.

I think you’re underestimating depression and being suicidal. What you’re telling us is too ideal and something like a character in a “fiction” would do. For me, her decisions and actions are, although annoying and lame, it’s realistic. She’s already mentally unstable, depressed and suicidal. You can’t also expect the world to be full of optimistic people only. Not everyone wants to fight. People like our FL need a push (like a cheat buff or maybe someone that she can depend on) to get back on track. Otherwise, it’s really difficult to get your shit together by yourself. There’s a reason why we have psychiatrists and psychologists right now. Also, turning back time isn’t always a big deal, maybe for most people it is, but not for everyone. It could be a blessing or curse depending on the person.

Sure she’s depressed, but usually you cling into hope. She doesn’t, which I find weird. She’s very pessimistic by nature it seems. She went back in time and it’s obvious she could try to escape and avoid the death flags, but she just whines. I guess she’s going to develop the use of mana and get stronger etc. but it feels a bit lame to receive powers if your mentality is like that.
Your analysis that everything will be pointless anyway isn’t wrong, but perhaps she could have taken the time to process it. For instance, first she could be confused, then maybe she’d feel hopeful, try something to change her situation, have it fail, and then she’d realize nothing is worth it and it’d make her even more depressed. But in her case she just had no change in her state of mind at all even though turning back time IS a big deal

She’s depressed enough to kill herself. That kind of depression changes how your mind thinks and alters your perception. Things seem hopeless, regardless of their reality. And you yourself especially seem powerless to change anything.
Maybe she could save some people, but she can’t see herself as anything more than a pathetic and miserable woman whose greatest accomplishment in her last life was dying. Plus, she’s got no power; no authority. She’s supposed to warn people as the abandoned wife of an abusive nobleman and expect them to believe her?
And what are they supposed to do then? In her last life, the response to the monsters was to flee to the temple; it was supposed to be safe. And yet the temple fell to the monsters as well. So people can’t run, they can’t hide, can’t fight back. All she’d be telling them is that the situation is hopeless. She might prolong a life or two, but in her perspective, they’d just end up dying later after more suffering. There is no one she can tell right now who can make a substantial difference.
Obviously, since there is a story, there’s a way to defeat the monsters. She doesn’t know that there is, or where to begin looking for it.

Why not warn people that the monsters are coming? Why not try and change things instead of wallowing in self pity?

At least she didn’t kill the twins too T-T
