@Gasai I thought so too at first, but I think it might just be same-face syndrome with the art style.
Their bangs are different and their eyes seem to be shaped differently (I compared the two pictures of them smiling).

What the- I am the only one that notices the female protagonist looks just like the witch of the past? Maybe she can transform to her whenever she pleases and does things… But I can’t figure out the reason why she would do that though so it’s probably a wrong guess…
