That was supposed to be an emotional scene but… I don’t know. I feel like it’s completely ruined sonce I never felt the progress of them getting closer and all. This does not seem good at this point, it seems awful. At least that’s my personal viewpoint. I feel almost like this manhwa is ruined for the moment. Hopefully it gets better ?
Everybody opinions are too much like ugh, we all knew this was gone turn into a love triangle so why are we even surprised fr? I much rather her focus on the freedom she kept speaking on ? and then go find a lover out there in the world who could be just as free as you.
Daniel is just a bit sugarcoated version of the crown prince. Ugh I don’t get how she’s any different from Ariel. This is just as bad as the main novel or whatever. Oh my poor baby boy Eugene. This is so unfair to them all. Specially Eugene. He’s the only one who accepted her first without any ulterior motives. How frickin could she! At least show them some respect and clear it w them that u can’t reciprocate their feelings first!!!

Feel genuinely bad for the great build up the author did for the other male characters…
this is just disappointing…It’s like the last season of game of thrones level of disappointment all over again…
Everyone has their own opinion of course, but I still think Eugene is best. First, he’s pretty much the only one that hasn’t wanted something and/or threatened to kill her. Cain wanted to use her against the crown prince with no thought to how dangerous that was. H, Herrance?…whatever his name has just been creepy and intrusive since the begining. The crown prince wants to us her and kill her, even though there is NO reason to and Daniel is lying to her and has been intending to kill her THE WHOLE TIME, him being royalty doesn’t balance that out for me. Eugene was the first to get to know her and has stayed by her side ever since and has only tried to help and make her happy. And the only time I remember him saying anything negative was when they first met and he didn’t know her.
I’m not sure how Eugene swearing loyalty to her while she is asleep is creepy…I mean it isn’t something he needs consent for? Who he swears loyalty to is HIS choice just as it is HER choice to send him away if she doesn’t want him around. Him swearing loyalty doesn’t take away her choice. And two sides, he did it knowing she wouldn’t want him to, but she didn’t bother to respect him enough to let him make his own choice. In fact, through the whole story she makes huge, life altering decisions for everyone around her without ever asking them what they want or need and without listening to their concerns – Jane is uncomfortable with the house, oh well, too bad, it isn’t about what Jane wants or needs, but about the princess’s self satisfaction.
I was really enjoying this but she turned completely stupid when Daniel showed up, it is so frustrating.
None of that was meant to be argumentative, just my personal view of it. 🙂
Okay so Eugene can’t just say he finds her annoying, doesn’t really like her, and still get the rights to her love.
Everyone seems to forget that he rejected her first and says he didn’t like her. He never shows his love and did that creepy thing where he swore loyalty to her in her sleep (no consent) despite knowing she would hate that.
Daniel was defeated royalty. Them getting married makes sense to me. The child will be a royal from two bloodlines.
This has become quite irritating to read. Eugene was there since the beginning. I don’t even know why litia like dan. Sure he’s hot but I can’t see his relevance in the story.
needs upvote, not just eugene but the duke as well where the author appealed to the readers…some time in the story on the recent chapters since daniel appeared, duke and eugene’s appearance is nonexistent…I feel betrayed.
