I bet she was framed and killed not for stalking, but for supporting the Crown Prince. You can see here that people are targeting his supporters, and it wouldn’t be hard to target her, and also the original sycophant Ludia.
I’m going to hope that she actually either dies or is seriously wounded saving the FL from an assassination attack to show that she really was her closest friend all along – that, or since Ludia was “hers” no-one could take her away, in a very yandere display of love.
