The story is not bad so far, but dang it, I can’t help but get distracted by the thought of the name. When SUS isn’t enough, they add SEX to it. WTF 😂 SUS SEX—what was person thinking when they created that name? Will the FL be called Duchess Sussex later in the story? I’m crying and cringing at the same time.
Seeing as it was a era where men were seen as superior, no one would have thought anything on it and would instead have the mindset of her being “a weak woman who couldn’t satisfy her husband and went crazy upon discovering her with another woman”. Tho it is also odd why he decided to put her in the asylum when considering the fact that he relies on her painting skills. But hey, he’s dumb enough to cheat on the one who helped him get to where he is now so not like he’s all that bright
I do want to know how they got her admission to a mental institute approved? And even if she did get put away he’s too dumb to not date his mistress in public immediately and she probably acted as a witness to the “illness” so wouldn’t everyone put two and two together about it being a plot? Also he wouldn’t put out good paintings anymore suddenly
