It’s weird seeing og Anneriche be vilified constantly for not being a lovable wife when she was sold into the marriage against her will. I mean even the duke cared so little for her that he didn’t even know she was being mistreated by her family and he still has the stomach to be upset that she wasn’t a lovable wife and mother. Very strange when you think about it from her pov
Yeah, I also feel there’s this kinda disconnect in the story with what we’re told about her past actions and how they all behave around her.
Sometime it’s like they had a reset when she reincarnated and are treating her like she just arrived; the fact she was an obnoxious harpy for the last decade barely seems to impact the story beyond the starting premise…
She reminded me of the girl in Villainess Lives Twice who was basically exactly this setup… that story had a somewhat harsher resolution for the girl though…
