I think the Otis family father made a sin 6 years ago then left the family or died that’s why the mrs. Otis is going crazy, as if he left them to pay for his sin and I lowkey feel like the twins are dead or something and those are just like ghosts or things like the servants that’s why the mother and their brother can’t look at them, also Roger is the villain of the story in my opinion, I think he is the one here to punish the family for their sins, I think? He is just not the guy for her and he is ultra mega sus as hell, don’t trust him and I think he is controlling the servants
I think that too and Mrs Otis can’t do anything without asking his permission he controls everything but Allan doesn’t want her to get hurt so he doesn’t want her to get close to him or his tutor will hurt both of them but I wonder what’s the sin that the Otis family did to get such terrible punishment
