   I personally think it’s a pretty fun and entertaining story overall, but it does some glaring weaknesses that can be hard to ignore. For example, the storyline is all over the place, it seems like there’s no planning for arcs, and characters are introduced suddenly and then disappear just as quick. My biggest pet peeve is definitely the growing amount of family members, that show up and then are kicked to the curve to the FL’s convenience, as if they are merely plot devices (if that, sometimes they are there just to make the FL look good) which is both shallow and annoying. But beyond that, it severely weakens the main premise of the story: the supposed downfall of the archduchy (this is not a spoiler, the first chapter already tackles this). It makes little sense that just by the patriarch (granpa), heir (dad) and second heir (first older brother we don’t know anything about until he’s suddenly introduced) deaths the entire well established family comes to ruin when there is actually other competent members that could take over (like the second brother, aunt, etc). The whoke downfall thing is awfully vague, and yet awfully exaggerated in gravity by how often it is brought up and stressed over (by the FL). Plotlines are also often just forgotten (?) or left open, like the luxury store section. Magic is used as a solve-all solution without any real introduction to its function in society, or even any mentions to the way it works. It’s just all over the place, when you stop to think about it. The story only really works because so many things happen in a fast sequence that you don’t really have time to think about any of it. It’s almost as if the author is counting on the fact the readers are either stupid, slow or forgetful to throw in whatever they want, without proper build up or development of anything. This often left me puzzled, because I cannot imagine writting anything this sloppy. But then again I read this in a zen state and only really wanted to occupy my time in between tasks, so it wasn’t all that deep to me, personally. But fair warning, it isn’t high quality stuff by any means.

   Art changes chapter 43 and I’m not a fan. But I like the story.
