Agreed, the stakes are none existent and if I knew that I couldn’t log out until the end of the game after watching a character I just spent all that time getting to know die in front of me. I’d just finish it as quickly as possible with one of the characters I already had and write a scathing review, lol
did he really need to die if i were her i would’ve felt so guilty and i wouldn’t have said it like that to begin with even though theyre just “fake” id still feel miserable, honestly i do want the mc to feel just a little pity like that dude just died and she here simping for crownprincewhich i get but it still feels wrong

idk it just feels gross to have “ohwow hes so hot” placed right after “lol i dumped a guy so he jumped off a building”, its narratively dissonant
