So far I could only guess he was stunned to come to know that she doesn’t know who he is, and he wanted to get her to be sincere with him. Perhaps because she’d be more prone to reveal what she revealed after all about her thoughts on their marriage (IDK if I’m making sense or if I’m just rambling). And the second question is: if he just came to know that she doesn’t want to marry him, and that she’d rather flee, why would he mention for her to marry another man? Was it all for the sake of the plot? Like, he himself thought “well, she doesn’t want to marry me, but perhaps she would agree to marry me with a different name” or something along those lines? I don’t need sleep, I need answers!
