I figured something like this would come up since they made it obvious that he’s a womanizing crook who openly cheats on his wife and ignores his family

Like I’m not hating on this side character, but she and her story seem like they are just there to shock and/or enrage the reader. Which, personally, I don’t think is the right way to handle this sort of topic.
Like, I’m thinking this’ll probably never be brought up again until this lady and her husband come back for, like, a page, to smile and thank the prince and fl. Maybe they’ll do/say something that helps out the protags and then never appear again.
