Finally! People who are thinking logically. There have been a lot of readers commenting lately who are ruled only by their emotions. I’m not saying I’m not, because I also comment out of emotion when it’s frustrating, but I absolutely love seeing logical people trying to bring sense to senseless comments.
I feel like a lot of ppl look at her circumstances too freely. I dont think she can run away or get a divorce that easily. she is bound by her status as a saintess and an empress, and despite that, in her current situation she doesnt have any support (everyone have bad opinion about her). I dont think she can just up and leave and get a mansion somewhere, let alone legally get a divorce, her position is too important and too politically entangled for that. instead, she is trying to be a decent empress without gaining the emperors love so that when the time comes, the emperor will dethrone her with no heavy feeling (unlike before when they were bound by love), hopefully with dignity and alimony, because even though she is not loved personally by the emperor, her work as an empress should get her some recognition and reward. thats what shes aiming for.
Well, I can’t agree with you guys. She won’t get divorced because she’s an automatic empress because she’s a saint or sth. If it was so simple to not be an empress the og FL wouldn’t be even in the picture as prospective empress. She’s trying to improve her image to be disposed when the time is right, she doesn’t belive her previous dids can be overlooked by the emperor to make him love her. She wants to leave when og FL appears and not be killed for her wrongdoings. Simple
