I agree with what @hanadlf said. I couldn’t wait to read this chapter because it’s a scene I loved so much in the novel. I have to admit that I’m a little disappointed with how they made it in the manhwa… he seems only h0rny here.
Go read the novel. I recommend to do it from the beginning. It’s beautiful and it’s more detailed, so you can have a better understanding of certain events and behaviors that haven’t been explained well here in the manhwa. (Oh, by novel I mean both the “normal” novel and the extra chapters from Riftan’s POV. They are a kind of prequel and make you understand Riftan’s character better. They are few, but I loved them almost more than the original novel🖤)
Anyway, this chapter is still good, Maxi is beautiful as always✨
This scene is actually a lot more lovely in the novel. Riftan tells her that he’s never seen her so happy, so that’s why he felt the urge to kiss her. I actually recommend reading the whole novel to understand him better🥺
