I do not know about the Princess and her motivations, apart from what I’ve read from the spoilers. So I’m going to hold my judgement on her for now. However, I do sometimes find myself frustrated with Riftan. Maxi, with all her insecurities and fears, has through the story thus far been constantly trying to grow and become a part of the Anatol Duchy. Riftan to this point, from what I remember of the story, seems to prefer keeping her away from almost everything. There’s something about him that keeps me from completely loving his relationship with Maxi. This is also why I love Ruth (He’s been missing for so long I forgot if that’s his name) and his friendship with Maxi. Not saying I ship them but I prefer their interactions more than Riftan’s with Maxi.

2. Riftan knows Agnes too well. She’s always seeking different angles for self gain, and always manipulative. She’s rather brutish… and she even lied, saying she didn’t force Maxi to come but she very much did…

I know Agnes is not a triangle per se, but she always annoys me and I never grow to like her. I don’t like cryptic and conniving people… just like the joker said, “I don’t like schemers”.
