She can’t just forget all her past just because they’re being nice to her. She have the right to overthink, when you know her past, that she was abuse by her own father and everything. Trauma, especially when it is inflicted throughout childhood AND by her OWN “family” isn’t something she can get over by herself and with just a short amount of time. She needs to heal with time, there’d be moments when she herself would feel assured by the people around her, and realize it’s different from before. It’s frustrating now but I’m excited when she’d finally heal from the past.
