I disagree with you, Theon has done nothing, he is just a little competitive and jealous, because even him knows that his love is very « lukewarm ». Ethan didn’t led the FL to her destruction only by himself. He just says out loud what she was thinking and give her confidence. He tried to keep Theon and the FL apart but she was stubborn. The only things we can reproach him are that he killed Julia in the past, that he can do everything for the FL good or bad, that he is seeker for the FL attention and he sometimes acts out of jealousy. He is entitled to a clear answer by the FL, who is really selfish. He has every right to be angry at the FL because he gave her everything he can but she doesn’t have the decency to be honest with him. The Fl really takes Ethan for granted and I pity him for that only that. I will never pity Theon because till now he is selfish even when he is honest in the present, he still ask her for marriage for convenience. I also have the impression that is the past he never really tried to fight for his own freedom or fight the FL when he has the power to
