I feel bad for Ray too but at this point he should at least be aware how Dorothy’s been treated by other people. She literally can’t use the blessing power thingy and he’s older so it’s impossible for him to not know when everyone knows about it. And someone in the comment is right, he never used his position as the crown prince to help her out. He praises, compliments, and cares for her but never saw things in her perspective at all. It hits more when Dorothy said what about what she wants when they didn’t tell her that they were coming. It’s cute that their relationship improved a bit so I’m hoping that their conversation in this chapter would at least be an eye opener for Ray. He can’t love someone and yet be ignorant of their situation all the time.

It’s 3yrs since her ninth bday. She is twelve and he’s like 14/15 now. He was 2/3 yrs old when she was born. I get she is tramatized and remembers the past. It’s not easy to just push hurts aside and change but being a kinder and better sister would help her live a good life. Being friends with one of the family members yanno. You’d think she’d try to do that since he’s always been kind to her in his own way. I hope she does start changing on that front so when she’s older Ray will take up for her against their dad. Her being sensitive to him isn’t his fault (it’s not her fault either). She’s traumatized and so, has a lot of landmines that aren’t immediately obvious. He’s, like, twelve. He also doesn’t know about her past life. Of course he’s going to have trouble getting through to her and of course she has trouble opening her heart.
