   This story crosses a dangerous line by romanticizing rape and psychological abuse. Th ML Leon isn’t a misunderstood hero he’s a monster who’s tortured, raped, and dehumanized Grace the FL What he does isn’t love, it’s pure control and cruelty. No tragic past can erase that or make him worthy of redemption.

I’ve been reading the comments and is right on both sides.     Okay, I didn’t want to write my review till the manhwa was finished, but just because I read the novel doesn’t mean I agree with everything in it. For a variety of reasons, readers continue to read , some are interested in the ML’s redemption or punishment, others enjoy the supporting cast or want to see how the plot develops or they want to see how the story is progressing yet others simply want to point out its flaws and offer criticism. Stories don’t operate that way, not everyone reads something because they agree with the action it promotes.
    @SEXYBOSS is right about the real definition of dark romance the story romanticizing abuse and because yep, some of the situations clearly cross the line. The problem is that real dark romance doesn’t just throw in abuse and call it edgy. It’s supposed to explore twisted, morally grey relationships with depth, not turn trauma into a love story without consequences. Exploring dark situations is not the same as simply slapping a nice face on it and calling it romance. Calling it out doesn’t make someone weak and that’s where the problem lies. It indicates that they are more knowledgeable about the genre than some people who act as if they are defending it.
    Although it was reasonable when someone was making fun of you right away, misrepresenting her statements, and acting as though everyone who criticizes the ML must be hateful, I wish @SEXYBOSS had handled it better by not responding much to @senia14 ‘s personal attacks and disrespect that type of energy isn’t exactly healthy. @senia14 You cannot make fun of someone and then appear shocked when they return the favor. Not to mention that dropping your Instagram account and telling other to call you is a foolish, immature, act.
    Even if it’s a manhwa, readers are free to discuss what bothers them in it. Telling people to shut up and not to read just because you don’t like what they said isn’t your right it’s you trying to dictate who gets to speak.
