I know some people are frustrated with Grace’s situation how she’s breaking to leon to be able to survive .It’s because she’s forming a trauma bond. After being starved and tortured, even a simple act of being given food begins to feel like a lifeline not love, but survival also because ,She’s trapped between fear and confusion, and her reactions now reflect dependence and helplessness more than genuine emotion. That’s how trauma bonding works when your life and body depend on someone who’s hurting you, your brain finds any small moment of relief comforting. it’s a desperate survival mechanism.
As for Jerome he’s doing his own thing behind his brother back 😂 but I like them as couple.
Yeah. But at some point her beliefs will be shaken. This thing of the “revolutionaries” asking her to “suicide” for the “good of the cause” instead of freeing her (if she was such a valuable asset) should be the breaking point and I hope the sensei will not forget about that important action.
She is trying to survive to go back to the arms who desisted in helping her.
True, the revolutionaries abandoning her is a huge betrayal ,but that doesn’t make Leon’s abuse any less horrific. Grace is being used by both sides as a pawn, and as a woman in that world, her body and safety are treated like bargaining chips for their agendas.
