Any chance of erik getting with her pretty much was ruined when he allowed the bullring to be a thing, plus he knows about the heart issue so why he all jealous and shit. What kind of argument was that lol, does he really think that if the FL was in love with him that she’d still be okay with him doing nothing to stop the illegal bullfighting with the children? That she’d just be okay with him letting the nobles continue it? She’s not treating him any different than if she had found out Ricardo had known about and let the bullfighting go on.
She’s a person with strong morals. I don’t think she’d let anyone get away with that awfulness even if it was the man she loved. Thank god she laid it out flat and told him he wasn’t ever treated differently and that she would never love him. He needs to know she’s serious about it.
