However Leoni was like 16 when she got married. I understand a 16 yo girl can look almost like an adult already, plus makeup, hair and dress can make her look more mature than her age.
Rutger just looked exceptionally short and baby-faced here since he was malnutritioned.
Rutger should be around 13 yo here, and a lot of 13yo boys indeed can be really short. However, if Rutger could be a bit taller, it would like better visually.
The drawings are not consistent, the ML and FL are almost the same age. In the earlier chapter, Leoni was younger, more like a child in her 1st marriage.
