Even if there is a lot you can hate Leoni’s father for, you have to admit that his comment of about her first husband was savage. I’d say it was even the best line in the entire comic so far.
As for that 2nd husband, the way he spoke kind of make me think that he might have just been using Leoni in order for them to produce that child. Maybe he has some kind of magic ability that allowed him to foresee her powers and he wanted to create a child with her that would be able to jump in time too or something.
