How is changing your name and altering your looks means you loose yourself? It’s not like she completely forsaken her personality or got the memories of her family wiped away.
Besides, her former “family” has already buried her. If she returns just like that as her resurrected former self she will still be a homeless disowned and divorced woman and is very likely to get another dagger in her chest.
