Tbh that ML client wasn’t that bad. Seems like his worst trait is keeping things to himself (mind you, that FML also did this). But like, besides his mother death, things was going smoothly in their marriage (to his best knowledge), he probably thought everything was ok.
!!! I bet the Mother realized early on that her daughter-in-law was eating the Cursed Fruit, so she probably asked to eat the Cursed Fruit so the FL wouldn’t! And then, of course, pushed the FL to cultivate the Spirit Dew since it was the only thing strong enough to cure a long-term poison like that! Wow, what an MVP Mom
