The female lead did well with riling up Niels, even though he’s so dumb that she had to explain things for him in length. Since her step-mother was always ignorant and then super rude towards her in the end, it seems appropriate to use her name like that after her death.
Okay, so I get that Iona’s real mother was not a commoner, but I wonder if by saying that she was not an affair, the father hinted at Iona being sired before the other two children… or maybe she’s the child of another father altogether? I really really hope she’s not some kind of cliché illegitimate princess or such -_-
