Sure, the brother might still have “reasons” for distrusting the female lead (“the crown prince’s loyal dog”), but it’s not okay that he didn’t take care of his sister properly, and he also shouldn’t be rude towards the lady who his friend and supierior is marrying! Especially since the duke himself has not been unfriendly or distrustful towards Iona.
I think the author is just being over-dramatic here again, like with all those women slapping our female lead or the crown prince acting way too disgusting…
true, it’s a very stupid way to react, even if uou are distrustful of someone. any one with half a brain wouldn’t show that much hostility to someone not only higher in rank (she’s a count’s daughter and his a mere baron’s son, the difference is huge there already!) but also soon to be his DIRECT superior, and someone he’s supposed to swear loyalty too. there’s literally multiple ways he could react as to express dissatisfaction without looking like a complete idiot, this seems like unnecessary drama indeed. specially since FL didn’t do anything overtly wrong herself (her only fault is being loyal to her master, is that even a flaw?!).
People are being unjust to the brother everyone has insight that she has changed! Remember nobody knows but her and she has to earn it i agree with being on guard.
