I don’t get it – the heroine said she doesn’t want to live as the crown prince’s dog anymore, she has a higher status than this abusive “lady”, but she still takes the beating? As a knight, couldn’t the female lead at least avoid the hits, like she did with her own father? What did the author intend with this scene? Is this for some kind of “drama” purpose or something?
sigh… another dumb character…. like how about you change the man and save yourself from headache but for such ppl honor status is worth all the trouble gotta see if her parents or family sucks mostly women had oppressive families and marrying man with high status was a way of escape but emotional mental stress is no joke either if that man is shit that is.
