   This is decent so far, I was fking tired of retarded + barbaric + clumsy + head in cloud + bad at hiding expression + dumb + pathetic + stupid + dramatic + barbaric MCs… like many manhwas there feed your brain total crap!! but this one… nice to see some normal ppl honestly we need more of these normal ppl, who acts well….
   Now for this story
   FL -> If there is only big quality I have to point out, then it’s patience, this MC endured for years and at the right time made her move, not easy to see the killer of your parents everyday exploiting your home, and whatnot. Really good girl since she was little I think we need more of such instead of feeding garbage to ppl.
   ML -> FL and ML are very similar they both have problems of their own, but 1 thing common that both had to deal with greedy relatives or ppl who trying to take over what belong to them.
   So far I like that they are not moving so fast in romance department because in most of the story it feels very… umm lame… it take a smile or 2 to make ML swoon over without actual moments of bonding, I like that this one will show the bonding part more than your typical.
   Villans -> Typical character design… honestly nothing new… many of them are obvious… with common villan traits -> greed, shamelessness, foul attitude, irresponsible etc etc.
   2nd ML -> well… sadly for this guy who loved FL since they were kids… he’s gonna have a real broken heart. I wonder if things can change if we have a transmigrator who loves 2nd ML type of thing….
   .
   So far it’s okay it’s decent I can’t say I’m really impressed…but it’s better than “many” out there…

    The fmc isn’t a damsel in distress, she can stand on her own. The mc isn’t barging in to save her.
    The mc isn’t overbearing, or forcing himself on to her to get a reaction out of her. You know the ususl cliche of the ml not trusting others so he’s constantly grabbing her her hand, pinning her against walls, no mental battles. Just two adults with common enemies working together to kick their assess.

    Yes, I do see the potential for romance. The slow development of colleagues to friends to lovers is there. It can’t be helped, they’ll both trauma bond and get peace of mind together and then he’ll become protective of her.

    Yes we have the typical villans but the current demeanor of both the leads makes it a refreshing read. Aaahhh I want more.

    Reasons I want you to give it a try:
    1. No magic, it has been shown that both leads have trained their combat abilities.
    2. Yes, they are contract lovers, no they don’t share the same rooms, no they haven’t eaten to together, no they arent doing the side stories of them going on walks to bond as yet.
    3. The fmc has the plans the mc has the resources. Note that she does have her maid (who’s trained in combat), she has a vessel (the second ml, who runs a mercenary guild, yes he has feelings for her). So she didn’t enter the contract empty handed.
    4. She HOLDS her composure, no mental diagoue of how she’d answer the enemies, no reckless action, no jumping into danger, no being a pushover.

    Sorry for the read guys. It’s my first time writing a review of something I like. I hope you guys enjoy.

    Ps she beats up her Fiance….with a bottle and he doesn’t remember 🤣
