Why was she allowed to regress? So far Kanna’s kill count is higher than it was at this time the first way through, so it’s not to stop her. She also hasn’t actually contributed anything to anyone, so it’s not because she has potential. When she died, the only ones alive who were close to her were the 2 that betrayed her, so no one brought her back. It’s not because she’s good-hearted and deserves a second chance, she killed the crown prince while fully aware of what she was doing and now she’s refusing to be grateful to someone she knows can go down the wrong path but just saved her life at the risk of his own. (He also started the fire, but we saw it was an accident caused by some level of psych issues.) This feels more than any other like the only reason she was regressed was for the story.
