author should have done a tad more research as they mixed up REGRET with SELF LOATHING and SELF PITY…..last one being the primary aspect they gave him
In the end… the ML is just a coward. FL already cursed him to stay alive and live his life in remorse, but he chose to die (runaway).
In Goodbye My Princess, ML is also a despicable character who leads FL to kill herself, but he is at least brave enough to stay alive and keep on living to pay his sins to her
he’s been a real douche to her at times icl but i still don’t want him to die tho. Like he’s suffering a lot rn and he’ll continue to do so and that’s fine cause all of this is just the dukes fault anyways SHE HETTEE NOT KHS OR IMMA BE SO MAD ISTG AND HE BETTER NOT DIE EITHER
