My theory is that the royal family killed the Duchess and the duke killed them and kidnapped the emperor for revenge. The empress helped the emperor escape but he doesn’t know it. Her father was upset and started to abuse her and use her for more power. He was so mad that he never told her how or when her mother died. That one since with the room all destroyed after the duke leaving, the emperor thought that she ruined the room but it was the duke in a fit of rage of her going along with the whole new queen thing. Everyone she is supposed to be loved by hates her, and the abuse trauma has made her go along with everything for love. With the emperor giving her love she will finally start to feel like her life is worth something, only for the emperor to kill her father and reveal his plans all along. She wants to die, but the emperor realizes all she went through and tries to stop her. He realizes that he does love her. The end.

nah even if everything turn well I will never forget how he treated her , that’s not because that this is a love story that everything is forgiven , like did you see how he talk to her and treat her ??? this man only think about his personal life and bad luck , he rlly think he’s the only one that alw suffered. im srsly angry that this kind of person exist irl , even in manhwa this is not something you should do to another human , is he a animal to don’t know communication with other?

I understand him. We’ll see if the empress takes action for one side… Thanks.

What a piece of garbage, this man. I’m curious to see how the author intends to redeem him when he’s so detestable.
